Second Lady Heads President’s Delegation to Special Olympics

She led the group that attended the opening ceremony for the World Winter Games.

Second Lady Usha Vance traveled to Turin, Italy, for the Special Olympics World Winter Games. She headed the presidential delegation to represent the United States for the opening ceremony on Saturday. The Second Family’s oldest child, Ewan, accompanied her.

Other members of the delegation included Rachel Campos-Duffy, wife of the U.S. Secretary of Transportation; Riley M. Barnes, senior bureau official of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, U.S. Department of State; Trent Michael Morse, deputy assistant to the president and deputy director of presidential personnel; Shawn Crowley, chargé d’affaires a.i., U.S. Embassy to Italy and San Marino; Douglass Benning, consul general, U.S. Consulate Milan, Italy; and Boris Epshteyn, senior counsel and senior advisor to President Donald Trump.
